Join Us In Worship: 8:30 am
We have resumed indoor worship. Please wear a mask at all times! Maintain a social distance from one another – including every other pew. Hand sanitizer is available at the entrances. Pick up a bulletin on your way upstairs and place your offering in the designated container. For those still not comfortable attending, an online service is available on the Facebook page of First UCC, Spring City.
East Vincent United Church of Christ: A Family in Christ!
East Vincent UCC is a small church with a warm, family feel. We offer opportunities for spiritual growth, service, fellowship and friendship, and development of our uniqueness both as individuals and as communities of faith.
What to Expect
A family atmosphere; to be greeted with a smile; traditional worship with a flare and experiments in the new and old (e.g. contemporary and emergent); people wearing jeans and suits; opportunities to use your talents and passions to serve our worshiping communities, our local communities, and make a difference globally; serious biblical exploration and challenging discussions of living our faith; communities that consider God’s created diversity a blessing, honor the wisdom of all ages, genders, and cultures, and offer opportunities for all to learn, grow and teach as we journey in becoming better disciples through a covenant of mutual affirmation and admonition; people seeking to grow closer to God in the path of Jesus Christ with a full awareness of the abounding Spirit and a hope of harnessing it for the building of the Realm of God here and now and yet to come.
Our Mission Statement
“Our mission is to praise God and serve Christ through hearing and doing the Word of God. As caring and supporting Christian disciples, we offer opportunities for spiritual growth, service, fellowship and friendship, and development of our uniqueness both as individuals and a community of faith. We reach out in love to welcome the stranger, give hope to the hopeless, and share the peace of Christ with our neighbor.”
